Role Purpose
This is a hands-on role involving both digital and offline marketing activities aligned with our growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Assist in implementing marketing campaigns across social media, email, in-store, and community channels
- Create and manage engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the website
- Track and report on digital performance metrics and campaign results
- Support planning and execution of book fairs, reading events, and other promotional activities
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Liaise with vendors and manage marketing material production
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives
Professional Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in retail or publishing
- Proficiency in digital tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp)
- Basic understanding of analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights)
- Excellent communication and content creation skills
- Strong organisational and teamwork abilities
- A passion for books and literacy is highly desirable
