  1. Do you ship out of Kenya?

Yes, we ship across East Africa via our preferred shipping partner. The shipping rates vary depending on the weight and location. The client may also specify their preferred courier.

 

  1. What is the lead time and the cost for shipping an order once I complete my order and make a payment?

 

Orders placed before 1:00pm will be delivered on the same day in Nairobi and it’s environs.

Orders outside Nairobi but within Kenya will be delivered between 24hours and 48hours.

 

The shipping cost vary depending on the weight and the location.

                                                                                                     

 

All delivery times listed are estimates and do not take into consideration delays due to holidays, strikes, etc.

 

What are the conditions for an exchange or refund?

  1. You need to contact hello@halfpricedbooks.co.ke prior to shipping back any product to request a return label indicating the complaint reference. Please note that unidentified packages without valid return labels cannot be processed. The return label is only meant for internal identification.

 

  1. Incorrect Product / Not As Described

You are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, including original shipping costs, only if your return is a result of an error on our part. To receive a refund, you must return your item directly to us within 48 hours of the estimated delivery date and in the same condition you received it in.

 

  1. All items must be in theiroriginal condition. 
  2. Items on Saleare exempted from exchange or refund.
  3. Items that qualify for a return must be shipped back within 48hours of receiving your order.
  4. Product is sold out.If the product that was paid for is sold out, you are eligible for a refund

  1. Do I have to pay for the shipping of my return?

Shipping costs and any other fees associated with sending your refund or exchange back from an error on our part will be catered for by Halfpriced Books.

 

 

Customer notes

  1. Please ensure that your shipping address provided is correct. We are unable to redirect parcels once they have been dispatched.

 

  1. Each order can only be delivered to 1 shipping address.

 

  1. Most couriers will require you to provide the reciepient’s contact number for pick-up or drop off. Please note that. we will not share your personal details with anyone else or for any other purpose.

 

  1. Request for pick-up at a preferred Branch may take up to 24 hours.

 

  1. No deliveries are made on Sundays. Any orders placed on this day will be serviced on the following day.

 

 

In the event that parcels are returned to us, you would be asked to pay an additional re-delivery fee, or be provided a refund and the charges incurred for your delivery.
